York St John University, UK (YSJ) was established in 1841 as the York Diocesan College for men, and later it was joined by a Teacher Training College for Women in 1846. The University evolved through mergers, forming the College of Ripon and York St John in 1974, and it achieved University status in 2006. Recognised for its Anglican foundations, educational mission, and progressive outlook, YSJ holds membership in the Cathedrals Group and Universities UK. As a leading University in the UK, welcoming students from across the world for over 180 years, YSJ has two vibrant campuses.
