Victoria University of Wellington is one of New Zealand’s oldest and most prestigious institutions renowned for its academic excellence. Founded in 1897 the university began teaching in 1899, with research initiatives led by pioneers. The university has three campuses, with Kelburn as the main hub centrally located in Wellington City. The Pipitea campus is home to the Wellington School of Business and Government and the Faculty of Law. The Te Aro campus is the heart of Architecture and Design programs. As one of the top universities in New Zealand, VUW enrolls over 17,000 students from 120+ countries. It employs 2,200 full-time staff, including 1,000 dedicated to teaching and research.
