VIA University College, founded in 2008 through the merger of several higher education institutions, is one of six University Colleges in Denmark and serves the Central Denmark Region. It hosts over 29,000 students and features more than 40 Degree Programs, including 9 that are taught in English to cater to international students. Around 2,200 faculty and staff support both teaching and research across 10 dedicated centers. Known for its double Degree Programs, VIA also delivers short-term and custom courses to study in Denmark and internationally. As Denmark’s Largest University College, VIA spans eight state-of-the-art campuses located throughout the Central Denmark Region, including cities such as Aarhus, Horsens, Herning, Viborg, Holstebro, Randers, and Silkeborg. Campus Horsens features a modern learning environment with a strong international presence, housed in newly constructed facilities. Meanwhile, Campus Herning stands out as one of Scandinavia’s leading academic hubs for Design and Business Education. Located in central Horsens, this Campus hosts approximately 2,900 students, nearly half from international backgrounds, fostering a diverse academic environment. Around 330 experienced employees support a wide range of programs taught in English and Danish. Campus Herning hosts more than 950 students, supported by a team of 120 employees.
