The University Targu Mures Medical Campus Hamburg (UMFST-UMCH) is one of the modern medical universities in Germany and serves as the international branch of the renowned George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Targu Mures in Romania. Yes. Graduates of UMF Târgu Mureș are eligible to apply for medical licensing examinations in various regions, including the European Union, the United States, Canada, and other countries. Students from the English-medium program commonly prepare for internationally recognised examinations such as the USMLE (United States) and PLAB (United Kingdom), subject to the regulatory requirements of the respective country.
Transfer into the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th academic year for the 2026/2027 intake is permitted for students previously enrolled at accredited universities within the European Union. Applications are evaluated based on prior academic records, with credit transfer determined through assessment of completed coursework and ECTS credits.
