Established in 2014, Ramcharan International Institute of Management (RIIM), Pune, is one of India’s leading management institutions and the first in Pune to adopt a corporate-style business school model. Located in Bavdhan, the institute was founded by Mr. Suraj Sharma, a first-generation entrepreneur. RIIM is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Students who choose to study at RIIM Pune begin their academic journey in an environment built on practical application, industry immersion, and a structured academic framework. The initial phase develops core managerial competencies through direct engagement with business practices, preparing students for the transition to international educational standards. The Postgraduate twinning program is conducted in collaboration with the University of South Wales, a globally recognized institution established in 1913 in the United Kingdom. Students complete 80 out of the required 180 credits at RIIM, followed by 100 credits at the university. Those who continue to study at the University of South Wales enter a system governed by the United Kingdom’s academic regulations, ensuring consistency in curriculum and evaluation. Courses at the University of South Wales are accredited by recognized quality bodies such as the Quality Assurance Agency, which validates teaching, research, and assessment across British higher education.
