Established in 1889 by the New Mexico Territorial Legislature and located in the heart of Albuquerque along the historic Route 66, the University of New Mexico is spread across nearly 800 acres and serves as the state’s flagship public research institution. With an enrollment of over 22,000 students, UNM is the largest university in New Mexico and one of the leading universities in USA for academic and research opportunities.
