Established in 1785, the University of New Brunswick is the oldest English-language university in Canada. The university’s history is shaped by major events one such is the American Revolutionary War. With a motto of ‘Sapere Aude’, meaning ‘Dare to be Wise’, the university has a long legacy of discovery and innovation. It has 2 campuses in Fredericton and Saint John. Among these two, the Fredericton campus is the main campus, which is among the most beautiful campuses in the country with Gregorian architecture and a lush landscape. The University of New Brunswick is known for having 70% of all publicly funded research in the region. It attracts more than $55.67 million in external research funding and is the world leader in developing MRI technology.
