Established in 2012, the University of Central Lancashire in Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus) is the branch campus of the University of Central Lancashire, Preston, UK. Located in Pyla, Larnaka, the institution is now in its thirteenth year of operation and stands as both the first overseas branch campus of UCLan and the fully licensed university to study in Cyprus. It is also recognised as the only British private university in Cyprus, hosting more than 1,000 international students. UCLan Cyprus is widely acknowledged among reputable universities in Cyprus for delivering UK-standard degrees while operating locally with its five academic schools namely, the School of Arts, Media and Communication; School of Business & Management; School of Law; School of Sciences; and the Institute of Professional Studies.
