Tio Business School was established in 1969 in the Netherlands, initially focusing on education in tourism. It has remained a private institution, and during the 1980s, it shifted towards a more market-driven approach. In 2020, Tio expanded its academic offerings to include Master's Programs. This strategic development led to the adoption of the name Tio Business School in 2023, reflecting its evolving identity and ambitions in the field of business education. Tio operates six campuses across the Netherlands, with its main headquarters located in Hilversum. Each campus is centrally situated, making them easily accessible. The primary campus is in Utrecht, while additional campuses are found in Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Groningen, Hengelo, and Rotterdam. Regardless of the city a student selects, every Tio campus is within a ten-minute walk from the nearest train station, ensuring convenient connectivity and ease of commute. Tio Business School delivers high-quality degree programs in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, and Event Management. With an average class size of just 10 students, over 2,000 are currently enrolled.
