Technological University Dublin popularly known as TU Dublin stands as Ireland's first Technological University. Officially established on 1st January 2019, its origins trace back to 1887 with the founding of the City of Dublin Technical Schools. TU Dublin progressed through the amalgamation of three partner Institutes, namely Dublin Institute of Technology, Institute of Technology Blanchardstown, and Institute of Technology Tallaght. At present, TU Dublin is the second-largest third-level institution in Ireland, serving an enthusiastic student population of approximately 28,500 learners. This includes over 3000 international students from 100+ countries. The University is spread across five campuses, including Grangegorman, Aungier Street, Bolton Street, Blanchardstown, and Tallaght. The flagship Grangegorman campus is the largest investment in Higher Education in Ireland and has beautifully restored the historic part of Dublin City with state-of-the-art facilities. The University's vision to "Create a Better World, Together" is condensed in its Strategic Intent 2030. This strategy aims to advance individual talents, promote sustainability, and deliver shared impact through collaboration.
