Founded in 1998, the Northern Institute of Technology Management (NITM) is a private business school in Hamburg, Germany. It was established by 40 professors from the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) and is the first business school in Northern Germany. Hauke Triebs, a renowned scientist and former president of TUHH, was NITM’s first president. Originally named the Northern Institute of Technology, ‘Management’ was added to its name in December 2007. Northern Institute of Technology Management is known for offering high-quality Master’s degree courses to outstanding students from Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. These programs are often combined with study-related industrial internships, providing practical, hands-on experience. The institute's educational excellence is supported by international professors and faculty members. They have practical experience from top universities in Europe, the USA, and Australia, as well as from successful international companies. Every year, approximately 30 to 40 students from 67 different nationalities choose this business school. The Northern Institute of Technology Management acceptance rate of 44% highlights its careful and selective admission process. It maintains a robust alumni network with over 650 graduates.
