Founded in 1962, the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) is located just north of Edmonton’s downtown and is conveniently connected by the Metro Line of the city’s Light Rail Transit. Recognized as one of Canada’s leading polytechnic institutions, NAIT is also the country’s largest provider of apprenticeship training. The institute’s main campus is in Edmonton and is supported by two additional campuses, Patricia and Souch, within the city, along with another located in Spruce Grove. Most academic and training programs, including those in Business, Health, Applied Sciences, Technology, and Apprenticeships, are based on the main campus.
