Established in 1966 as two Catholic teacher training colleges, Trinity College and All Saints College, Leeds Trinity University (LTU) has evolved into a modern Public University that gained full University status in 2012. Today, LTU operates a distinctive ‘One university, two campuses’ model. The original 60-acre Horsforth Main Campus is in leafy north west Leeds, and the purpose-built Leeds City Campus, opened in October 2024 within Trevelyan Square, five minutes’ walk from the railway station. With a taught community of nearly 14,765 students, including more than 1,300 Postgraduates, LTU remains intentionally small, fostering personalised learning and strong academic support.
