Kristianstad University (HKR), situated in southern Sweden, is a mid-sized university close to Denmark and mainland Europe. While officially founded in 1977, its history traces back to 1935 when teacher training programs were first introduced. HKR offers a well-structured campus within easy walking distance of essential amenities. The campus integrates key facilities, including a library, student union, health centre, and student accommodations, creating a supportive environment for students. Kristianstad University enrolls 14,000 students, including 300 international students, supported by 400 staff members. It offers programs across four faculties: Business, Natural Science, Health Science, and Education.
