Established in 1910 as an institution for training teachers, Kent State University has evolved into one of the largest regional university systems in the United States. Located in Kent, Ohio, it is a prominent public research university. One of the leading Universities in USA, it operates a flagship Kent Campus and seven regional campuses across Northeast Ohio: Ashtabula, East Liverpool (paired administratively with Salem), Geauga (with the Twinsburg Academic Center), Stark, Trumbull, and Tuscarawas.
