Jaipur National University (JNU) was founded in 2007 in the capital city of Rajasthan to promote industry-oriented, research-intensive learning. Dedicated to academic excellence and industry preparedness, it was one of the first universities in Rajasthan to be accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) within just 7 years of its establishment. Fast-forward to the present, the university now holds many awards and recognitions and consistently ranks among the top universities in India. To expand its global reach, the university opened its campus in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, in January 2024. Ras Al Khaimah, an emirate known for its natural attractions, history, culture, and laid-back luxury, is now making headlines as a global technology hub. Welcoming more global universities and leading companies, the city is steadily rebranding itself as the innovation capital of the UAE. To support this effort, the Jaipur National University Ras Al Khaimah Campus has opened its doors to international students, elevating academic standards and increasing private sector participation in creating a future-ready workforce. The Jaipur National University, Ras Al Khaimah (JNU RAK) campus currently offers bachelor's programs and plans to expand its curriculum to include master’s and PhD programs. All programs at JNU are designed to address the needs of the modern world and promote students' employability. As a result, rather than relying solely on established bookish knowledge, the university curriculum goes further by incorporating research. So far, JNU has over 534 authors who have published 690 papers, which have received 7591 citations across key topics such as Medicine, Chemistry, Computer Science, Population, and Internal Medicine. The Ras Al Khaimah campus is set to continue building on this excellence by strengthening global connectivity and cultivating partnerships with leading industries.
