Istituto Marangoni was founded in 1935 in Milan by Giulio Marangoni as the Istituto Artistico dell’Abbigliamento Marangoni (Marangoni Artistic Clothing Institute). Over the past 85 years, the institute has upheld its commitment to high-quality training, continually updating its academic programs to meet the evolving requirements of both the Italian and global fashion markets. It has expanded its presence across key global fashion and design hubs through the establishment of international schools. The London campus was inaugurated in 2003, followed by Paris in 2006 and Shanghai in 2013. In 2014, the institution strengthened its presence in Milan with the opening of the School of Fashion, Art, and Design. Further expansion continued with campuses in Shenzhen (2016), Mumbai (2017), and Miami (2018), strategically positioning Istituto Marangoni in leading capitals of fashion, design, and luxury.
