About International Management and Sports College
Founded in 2003, the institution was initially named the International Sports Academy (ISA), with the vision of equipping learners with necessary skills in the ever-growing sports industry of Singapore. However, due to expansion in academic courses offered to include hospitality and tourism studies, its name was changed to International Management and Sports College (IMSC). Currently, IMSC has become a top private higher learning institution offering industry-specific courses in forms of certificate, diploma, and degree qualifications in areas such as sports and fitness training, caregiving, hospitality and culinary arts, as well as business management. The college boasts two campuses located within Singapore. These include Mountbatten Campus and another one situated at Aljunied. The main Mountbatten Campus acts as a central point for administration and learning, covering an expansive area of approximately 4,000 square feet of learning space. As part of the four major pillars underpinning its distinctive student development model, special learning spaces known as Productivity Room, Passion Room, Progress Room, and Purpose Room are available on the main campus. The college maintains an international outlook since it admits graduates from over 15 countries all around the world. Such diversity among its student body creates a multicultural learning environment for students. On the academic side of things, IMSC is registered as an Approved Centre of OTHM Qualifications, accredited in the UK and regulated by Ofqual. In addition, academic partnerships have been developed with many renowned institutions worldwide including being an education partner of the University of Portsmouth's sports courses. It has earned the prestigious EduTrust (4-year) Certification from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). Speaking of student success in their careers after graduation, IMSC holds a very good record in this regard. For example, its learners enjoy excellent institutional connections and career paths through endorsements from the most prominent companies in the industry such as Virgin Active, True Fitness, Pure Group, and BFT[A.
