About Institut supérieur d`électronique de Paris (ISEP), Paris
Founded in 1955 by the Institut Catholique de Paris, ISEP has grown over seven decades into one of France’s foremost private ‘Grande école’ institutions devoted to digital Engineering and Technology. From its origin on the historic grounds where physicist Édouard Branly once conducted pioneering experiments in wireless transmission, ISEP has maintained a legacy of technical innovation and academic excellence. ISEP today stands out as a leading institution in France, recognized for its rigorous scientific-technical training, humanist values and strong industry connections. Its degrees are accredited by the relevant French authorities, and the institution holds the EESPIG label (Établissement d’Enseignement Supérieur Privé d’Intérêt Général), confirming its non-profit status and commitment to higher education and research. To study at ISEP, the institution operates across two campuses, namely, the Notre-Dame-des-Champs campus in the 6th arrondissement of Paris and the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette campus in Issy-les-Moulineaux, in the metropolitan area just outside central Paris, embedded in the region’s dynamic digital ecosystem. The student community at ISEP comprises over 1,500 enrolled students across Preparatory, Bachelor's, Engineering and Master's levels, with around 300 new Engineers graduating each year. The institution is structured into three main academic departments of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Systems, supported by a strong research infrastructure with multiple laboratories. Beyond academics, ISEP embraces a vision of ‘Humanware’, placing people at the heart of digital technology. Its educational philosophy emphasizes the ethical, social and environmental responsibilities of engineers, fostering a human-centred approach to innovation. On the research front, ISEP maintains strong industry partnerships with more than 400 companies. These collaborations support teaching, R&D projects, internships and professional integration, thereby enhancing graduates’ employability. Its alumni network further strengthens professional pathways, mentorship and opportunities worldwide.
