Originally known as eie Institute of Education, the institution was re-branded as eie European Business School to reflect its focus on European-aligned business education and its increasing international footprint. eie European Business School, Malta, is fully licensed and recognised by the Malta Further & Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) under Licence No. 2005-TC-001, and its academic programmes are mapped to both the Malta Qualifications Framework (MQF) and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
