Founded in 1875 in Smyrna (modern-day İzmir, Turkey), The American College of Greece stands as a distinguished pioneer in international higher education. Originally established by Congregational missionaries from Boston to provide high-quality education, the College relocated to Athens, Greece, in 1923. Since then, it has grown into the oldest and largest U.S.-accredited educational institution in Europe. ACG operates across three distinct campuses in the Athens region.
